With
titles such as “belong” and “the cracked pot”
Sarah’s work evokes stories via association and allegory.
Her subtle porcelain pots and vessels hark back to Japanese saki
bottles worn with time and usage, as well as incorporating handwritten
stories reminding us of the value of the imperfect object.
Sarah also creates layered groups of vessels with edges delicately
reduced to lace by sand-blasting. |
