| I make
individually hand made ceramic containers and buttons made from
porcelain. Lace is used to decorate the containers using various
techniques. The containers are intended as bedroom / boudoir dressing
table furniture accessories, they are designed to please the eye
and hold items precious to the owner. I also make buttons of different
shapes and sizes. The buttons are displayed and mounted on old sewing
materials and Victorian photographs. The buttons on the cards could
be kept as beautiful objects in them selves or the button could
be actually used on a garment. My desire is to create a feeling
of delicacy and preciousness from my work. |
