Christine’s
large net installation was crocheted using floristry wire, fishing
wire and varying sized crochet hooks, and her work is made of three
parts, which can be put together according to the space. Christine
intended her work to act as a linear drawing in space, exploring
what happens when a single line is repeated over and over again
exploring the tactile quality of her material. Her work is not intended
to represent a specific form, it is up to the viewer to interpret
it as they wish, but instead Christine is interested in the materiality
of forms and the repetition of patterns and lines that allow the
material to be seen anew. |
