My work is inspired by mankind’s inextricable links with others, struggling to conform in a modern society, whilst at the same time striving to discover an individual identity.
Textile pieces are cut and layered, with objects of mixed media trapped and intertwined. They are constructed to form original three-dimensional fabrics, which are tactile as well as visual. Small, cast concrete forms are covered, bound and embellished to make unusual sculptural pieces capturing individual characteristics.
