Within both my paintings and textiles pieces, the use of interesting colour, mark making and considered surface qualities are important to me.
I seek to create beautiful scarves and hangings inspired by decorative elements found in nature, from botanical plant forms to the night sky. By employing elements of my imagination, such references materialise as abstracted pattern, striking colour and contrasting areas of decoration.
