Recent Employment:
2004-Ongoing
Return to the care industry initially as Activities Co-ordinator,
then to Care Team Leader and Senior CTL, then in Dec 2005
moving to Watson Group Healthcare Ltd to manage their new
Dementia unit which is my current full time employment,
it is my long term ambition to return to full time employment
as an artist-maker in the next eighteen months.
2003 Ongoing
Workshops with children and adults, making items such as
masks and puppets.
Numerous Art workshops for children exploring character
through the making of different types of puppets.
Summer School for Halton High School in Runcorn,
working with their theme of Harry Potter, I made giant Willow
masks of each character and also made spiders from chicken
wire, textiles and other mixed media.
Workshops making masks for several venues including Spike
Island Show, Crow Wood Fun Day, Criccieth, North Wales Festival.
2002
Numerous Art Workshops for children making craft items such
as kites, mobiles, finger puppets and wire bugs.
Workshops, at Spike Island Show, making Peg
people.
Lead artist Women’s Refuge working with
mixed media to involve mothers working with their children.
Summer Fun, Castlefields Community Centre,
week long project making wire and fabric insects.
