Ravenous and consuming, voracious and insatiable, the teeth threaten to drag you in and devour you triggering a primal fear of sharp, tearing teeth.

Inspired by my fascination with the extreme “Otherness” of creatures of the deep and a comment by Colin Serjent about funding cuts; Maw is a studio work construction of wire armature and heat-shrunk recycled plastic bags.
